Hailing from Queens, New York, Dougie Almeida spent most of his adult life as a corporate presenter for one of the largest financial planning firms in the country. His specialty was taking lifeless insurance presentations and transforming them into works of comic art. In his spare time, he fought as an ISKA Heavyweight Muay Thai Kick boxer, retiring at 10-0 and earning the title “Always Dangerous”. So, what do you get when you cross an inventive corporate executive with a retired kick boxer? A stand-up comedian, of course! Prior to taking the stage, Dougie gauges his audience, reaches into his vault and prepares his onslaught of humor. Once on stage, he delivers blow after blow of hilarity, hitting the audience with punch line after punch line. His wit and stage presence is second to none. John Caparulo has been making audiences laugh for over 20 years. Cap always knew he was destined to be a comedian, and so in 1999 he left Ohio and moved to Los Angeles where he got a job working the door at The World Famous Comedy Store. After nearly 4 years of struggling for stage time, cutting grass at a local golf course and rethinking life choices, he started catching a few breaks. Cap was invited to the 2003 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and shortly thereafter was featured on the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation”. Over the next several years he would make multiple appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. Cap found mainstream success when he appeared over 150 times as a panelist on Chelsea Handler’s popular E! show, “Chelsea Lately,” during its 7-year run. Cap has two comedy specials: “John Caparulo: Meet Cap,” which premiered on Comedy Central in 2008 and “John Caparulo: Come Inside Me,” which launched on Netflix in 2013. Cap currently releases “Caplets”, a brand-new set of comedy every 30 days that were distributed on Hulu, JohnCaparulo.com, and YouTube. Cap now tours the country performing at theaters and comedy clubs. When not performing Cap lives in Las Vegas with his wife and daughter and a houseful of pets.

Joe Starr is a favorite Stand-up act in scores of theaters and casinos across the United States, Canada and Europe. He began Stand-up right out of High School, and was fortunate to be quickly taken under the wing of comedy giants like Alan King, Soupy Sales and Pat Cooper. Joe's 'old school' delivery and amazing story-telling abilities made him a favorite opening act for a wide array of Comedy and Musical luminaries such as, Father Guido Sarducci, Marilyn McCoo, Richie Havens, Jay Leno and Jeff Dunham. Joe is also a favorite of The Montreal Comedy Festival; having performed there 3 years in a row. Darren “DS” Sanders is known as “THE MAN OF MANY FACES” because his facial expressions are as descriptive as his words. Very interactive with his audiences, never be surprised if you or someone in your party becomes part of the show. But don’t worry, it’s always in good taste! This comedy veteran is very diverse and is the right comic for any audience, having worked groups as broad as fifth graders to the Congressional Black Caucus. His style is upbeat and fast paced so be ready to go on a non-stop laugh ride. Mr. Sanders travels regularly to military bases entertaining the troops. “Performing for our fighting men and women is one of my greatest sources of pride and I also feel it is my duty”. Back by popular demand, Richie is a club favorite because he has the ability to appeal to all ages and audiences. He was a writer and regular guest performer on the hit show “King of Queens”. He has also appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime and can be most recently seen in the hit movies “Zookeeper” and “Paul Blart Mall Cop” with Kevin James and “Grown Up’s “ with Adam Sandler. A veteran of standup comedy, Richie is the former owner of Long Island’s premier comedy club, The East Side Comedy Club. His stage is where celebrities, Rosie O’Donnell, Jay Leno, Eddie Murphy, Kevin James, and Ray Romano started their standup careers. Richie also has many writing credits to his name. In 2001 and the 2002 People’s Choice Awards and the CBS hit sitcom, The King of Queens. John Paul Morgan was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cultural, political and economic diversity of that city laid the groundwork for his development as a performer. John is one of nine children and after high school he attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana Lafayette) where he earned degrees in English, Political Science, and Interpersonal Communications. It was during his college career that John discovered he had the gift of comedy.

John has worked steadily at comedy clubs, corporate events, and musical arenas. He has made national television appearances on MTV, Showtime, and Night Watch with Charlie Rose. He has been the opening act for Kathleen Madigan, Michael Bolton, The Monkeys, Ronnie Cole, Jerry Seinfeld, and Helen Reddy.

John's confident demeanor and honest approach to life is refreshingly original. John dares to talk boldly about real issues. Whether he is speaking about children or relationships, his comedy comes from the heart. Although his material may push some limits, it is never derogatory to any race, sex or creed. He has opened for Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Nealon, Caroline Rhea, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, and Weird Al Yankovic, and performed alongside Brad Garrett at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. All of them said he’s too strong an act to be opening for anybody. Since his arrival in the US, he’s played principal roles in award-winning movies and Emmy Award-winning TV series. He’s working on feature films he’s written as vehicles for himself including All My Friends Are Getting Married. He performed his one-man show Skitso in New York City and at the Hollywood Fringe Festival where he played over 35 original characters and celebrities. In Up Over From Down Under, this powerhouse performer shares his insights on being an Aussie in America and his obsession with movies, relationships, winters, men, women, and love. Bouncing around from character to character with ease, he mimics movie stars with an uncanny ability to be able to look like them too.
